Properties of excited 0+ states in C14 and O14

Abstract

I have computed expected energies and widths of excited 0+ states in O14, using experimental information from C14 and a variety of wave functions. Agreement for the 02 state is fair, but my calculations do not support a recent suggestion that a previously unknown state unresolved from the second 2+ state might be the 03 state.
