Abstract
We have measured the resonant x-ray photoemission spectra of the mixed-valent intermetalic compound at the Ce edge. An impurity Anderson model with Coulomb interaction is employed to analyze theoretically these spectra. Full multiplet coupling effects including the Auger decay process are taken into account. Good agreement with experimental and calculated spectra is obtained. The existence of the component hidden in the white line and the importance of the Coulomb interaction in the final state of absorption are confirmed.
