Abstract
The renormalization factor due to the quantum oscillations around the static soliton solutions for a sine-Gordon system on a finite support is calculated. The contribution of the upper- and lower-band modes is considered in detail and the dependence of the renormalized mass upon the length of the system is calculated for any temperature in the low-coupling approximation.
