Time-dependent specific heat in spin-glasses

Abstract

Investigating energy and entropy barriers between ground-state valleys in the two-dimensional ±J- Ising—spin-glass model we predict time-dependent effects in the specific heat. We consider the possibility of observing these effects in experiments as another interesting feature of spin-glasses.
