Abstract

Electron paramagnetic resonance of Fe3+ in the strong trigonal field of a nearest-neighbor substitutional arsenic in ZnSe is reported. Superhyperfine structure is observed from the four nearest neighbors - one arsenic and three seleniums. The parameters appearing in an effective spin Hamiltonian with S=12 are ge=2.0238, ge=6.168, A(Fe57)=6.2×104 cm1, B(Fe57)=16.8×104 cm1, K(As75)=8.71×104 cm1, and K(As75)=16.20×104 cm1.
