Abstract

In this Comment, we show that the author's conclusion in Phys. Rev. A 85, 023807 (2012) that “the momentum transferred to a submerged mirror upon reflection of a single photon of frequency ω0 could be anywhere in the range from 2ω0/nc to 2nω0/c, depending on the phase angle ψ of the mirror's reflection coefficient” is erroneous.
