Momentum-space calculation of four-boson recombination

Abstract

The system of four identical bosons with a large two-boson scattering length is described using momentum-space integral equations for the four-particle transition operators. The creation of Efimov trimers via ultracold four-boson recombination is studied. The universal behavior of the recombination rate is demonstrated.
