Amplifying an atomic wave signal using a Bose-Einstein condensate

Abstract

We investigate a matter wave amplifier model which is capable of enhancing an external input atomic wave signal. This amplifier makes use of a cavity QED interaction with a trapped Bose-Einstein condensate. We examine the atomic wave equations and describe the gain performance.
