Direct generation of approximate relativistic electron densities from the nonrelativistic limit

Abstract

The idea of generating a relativistic electron density from knowledge of the nonrelativistic limit is illustrated by examples from two areas: (i) independent electrons moving in a fixed one-body potential energy and (ii) two-electron atomic ions treated in a model with δ-function interactions.
