Abstract

The quark-model couplings of tensor, axial-vector, and scalar mesons to PP and PV meson states have been evaluated under the assumption that the former have the QQ¯ structures P0,1,23 and P11. The results for the strong decay widths for the known modes are in rather good agreement with observations.
