Abstract

Measurements of the polarization of the B12 recoils produced in the B11(d,p)B12 reaction have been made using a variety of recoil stopping materials. A lower limit of P+(0.0436±0.0021) is set for the recoil polarization in the direction of kd×kp at Ed=3.1 MeV and 53° recoil angle.
