Abstract
We report on the observation of a previously unknown resonance at in the reaction, with a measured resonance strength . We studied in the same experiment the reaction by an activation method and the resonance-strength ratio was found to be . The corresponding excitation energy in the compound nucleus was determined to be by -ray measurements using the reaction. These new resonance properties have important consequences for nucleosynthesis and -ray astronomy of classical novae.
