The experimental crack path used in Ref. 1 (solid curve) is fitted by our two reference models (dashed curves). Both fits are significantly better than the one obtained by the authors with their cycloidal construction, as revealed by comparison with Fig. 2(c) of the original Letter [1].Reuse & Permissions
