Spatial dependence of the order parameter of superfluid He3 at the A-B phase boundary

Abstract

Accurate solutions of the Ginzburg-Landau equations describing the A-B phase boundary for a planar interface between A3 and B3 are calculated near the tricritical pressure and classified in terms of simple discrete symmetries. The order-parameter components of the A-B phase boundary and the interfacial energy σAB(T) deviate considerably from previous variational calculations.
