Abstract

From electron-positron collision data collected with the CLEO detector operating at Cornell Electron Storage Ring near s=10.6GeV, improved measurements of the branching fractions for τ decays into three explicitly identified hadrons and a neutrino are presented as B(τππ+πντ)=(9.13±0.05±0.46)%, B(τKπ+πντ)=(3.84±0.14±0.38)×103, B(τKK+πντ)=(1.55±0.06±0.09)×103, and B(τKK+Kντ)<3.7×105 at 90% C.L., where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively.
