Abstract

We have studied exclusive, radiative B meson decays to charmless mesons in 9.7×106 BB¯ decays accumulated with the CLEO detector. We measure B(B0K*0(892)γ)=(4.550.68+0.72±0.34)×105 and B(B+K*+(892)γ)=(3.760.83+0.89±0.28)×105. We have searched for CP asymmetry in BK*(892)γ decays and measure ACP=+0.08±0.13±0.03. We report the first observation of BK2*(1430)γ decays with a branching fraction of (1.660.53+0.59±0.13)×105. No evidence for the decays Bργ and B0ωγ is found and we limit B(B(ρ/ω)γ)/B(BK*(892)γ)<0.32 at 90% C.L.
