Abstract

A globally hyperbolic asymptotically flat spacetime (satisfying the dominant energy and non-negative pressures conditions) is presented that shows that K(π,1) prime factors of the Cauchy surface topology can be passively observed by asymptotic observers, contradicting an existing argument that all such factors are passively censored. © 1995 The American Physical Society.
