Quantum-mechanical evolution of generalized coherent states and semiclassical approximation

Abstract

The quantum-mechanical evolution of generalized coherent states is studied. It is found that certain generalized coherent states approximately evolve into other generalized coherent states. In the same approximation, energy eigenstates and eigenvalues are obtained. The extension to field theory is discussed.
