Abstract
We present a measurement of mixing and violation using the ratio of lifetimes simultaneously extracted from a sample of mesons produced through the flavor-tagged process , where decays to , , or , along with the untagged decays and . The lifetimes of the -even, Cabibbo-suppressed modes and are compared to that of the -mixed mode in order to measure and . We obtain and , where constrains possible violation. The result excludes the null mixing hypothesis at significance. This analysis is based on an integrated luminosity of collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy collider.
