Abstract

We compare recent experimental results for the spectroscopic properties of F23 with theoretical results based on the new Hamiltonians USDA and USDB for the sd-shell model space. The implications for the proton single-particle energies in F23 are discussed. Conclusions are drawn about the level scheme of F23 and the accuracy of the new Hamiltonians from these comparisons.
