Abstract
The low-spin structure of has been studied using the , and reactions. Lifetimes were determined from both and measurements. Branching ratios were measured, and multipolarities and spin assignments were determined from the angular correlation experiment. From and strengths, the and states at 1297.1 keV and 1483.6 keV, respectively, are proposed as members of the quintet of mixed-symmetry states associated with the ,) configuration. The large values determined in cannot be explained within the weak coupling limit of the interacting boson fermion model.
