ω production in pp collisions

Abstract

A model-independent irreducible tensor formalism that was developed earlier to analyze measurements of ppppπ° is extended to present a theoretical discussion of ppppω and of ω polarization in ppppω and in ppppω. The recent measurement of an unpolarized differential cross section for ppppω is analyzed by use of this theoretical formalism.
