Abstract

Variational Monte Carlo calculations are carried out for HeΛΛ6 using realistic NN,NNN, and phenomenological ΛN and ΛNN interactions. For the ΛΛ interaction we employ the various phase equivalent Nijmegen interactions. By incorporating the various components of Λ-nuclear interactions in stages, and keeping BΛ(HeΛ5) around 3.12 MeV, it is demonstrated that the incremental energy ΔBΛΛ for HeΛΛ6 is sensitive to the three-body ΛNN force and the exchange part of the ΛN interaction. The ΛΛ interaction obtained is only somewhat weaker than the ΛN interaction. We also report the results for the rearrangement energy of the α core. We discuss the implications of our results.
