Abstract
Variational Monte Carlo calculations are carried out for using realistic , and phenomenological and interactions. For the interaction we employ the various phase equivalent Nijmegen interactions. By incorporating the various components of -nuclear interactions in stages, and keeping around 3.12 MeV, it is demonstrated that the incremental energy for is sensitive to the three-body force and the exchange part of the interaction. The interaction obtained is only somewhat weaker than the interaction. We also report the results for the rearrangement energy of the core. We discuss the implications of our results.
