Abstract

We calculate the χ2 of various NN potential models with respect to the pp scattering data. We find that only the potential models which were explicitly fitted to the pp data give a reasonable description of these data. Most models give a pretty large χ2 on the very low-energy pp data, due to incorrect 1S0 phase shifts.
