Abstract
Diluted magnetic quantum dots are studied in a regime, where magneto-polaron formation is absent. We observe 90% spin polarization at magnetic fields below 1 T and factors as large as 300. The large single-dot optical line width reveals fluctuations in the magnetic subsystem. The data are systematically analyzed in dependence on the Mn concentration.
