Abstract
We present the effects of the center-of-mass dynamics on the negatively charged exciton bound states in the presence of longitudinal magnetic and electric fields. We consider an idealized quantum well in the low-field limit and use the configuration interaction method to build up the two-particle basis set. Our results show that the dynamics of the charged exciton center of mass has to be taken into account for a realistic description of the bound states.
