Abstract

Polarized magnetophotoluminescence measurements performed on a wide parabolic GaAs/Al0.2Ga0.8As quantum well reveal the presence of spectral redshifts in the energy at filling factors ν=1 and 2. The magnitude of these redshifts depends on the polarization and filling factor. While the values for the case of the σ polarization agree with existing theories, the results for the σ+ polarizations are less understood.
