Adiabatic stabilization against photoionization in a constant magnetic field

Abstract

Atomic stabilization against photoionization is numerically investigated in two spatial dimensions. It is demonstrated that the stabilization, prevented by magnetic effects, can be restored by a properly chosen constant magnetic field.
