Change and uncertainty in quantum systems

Abstract

A simple inequality shows that any change in the expectation value of an observable quantity must be associated with some degree of uncertainty. This inequality is often more restrictive than the Heisenberg uncertainty principle. © 1996 The American Physical Society.
