Determination of field correlation functions from measured quadrature component distributions

Abstract

It is shown that the whole manifold of normally ordered field correlation functions can be obtained by averaging the measured quadrature component distributions with pattern functions, which are simply Hermite polynomials multiplied by an exponential phase factor. © 1996 The American Physical Society.
