Abstract
After a discussion of the importance of results recently found by Sachs, some weaknesses of his theory are pointed out, and a contribution to the nucleon magnetic moment from the state with two-pion cloud in an -state is calculated. A proposal of Sugawara to include admixtures of states with a one-pion cloud around a spin- ("baryon") core is criticized, and the contribution of such states to the nucleon magnetic moments is calculated. It is discussed what value might be taken for the magnetic moment of such "baryon" core.
