Nonlinear Realizations. II. Conformal Symmetry

Abstract

Use is made of the formalism of nonlinear realizations to treat the spontaneous violation of conformal symmetry. The associated "Goldstone" particles, which are characterized by a four-vector and a scalar field, are unusual in that they possess mass.
