Nuclear Spin of Gallium-70

Abstract

The atomic-beam magnetic-resonance method has been used to determine the nuclear angular momentum of 21-minute Ga70. Measurements performed in both the P122 and the P322 electronic states show that the nuclear spin is I=1.
